Eyelids are a body part that you can not really fix with diet or exercise, which can affect a person’s self-image, no matter the age. That is when Blepharoplasty comes in to save the day. In the procedure, a part of the eyelid is removed, which opens the eye and makes it more expressive. In other words, it makes your eyes really pop off. In this video, you can see the Eyelid Surgery done by Dr. Boris at Boris Cosmetic. He guides you through the procedure and explains all steps of the surgery.

Blepharoplasty Surgery

Good morning, I’m Dr. Stone, and today what we are going to do is upper blepharoplasty. We are going to remove this skin. You can see how the eyebrow is below the bone, the edge of the bone is where my fingernail is. This should be right there. So there is a muscle right here that pulls it down, when the muscle contracts, it does that. You can see it has been pulling this down. So we are going to cut this muscle through the eyelid incision so that her eyebrow will end up being like that. The other thing, specific to this case, you can see that it is prominence right there, there is some fat that is between the skin and the muscle, and we are going to remove that. That is a separate issue. And then there is a fat pad right there, we are going to take that little bulge out. The next thing we are going to do is put some fat here instead of fillers. That fat will be permanent, and we use a special injection gun, which puts in little tiny pellets of fat as it ratchets in. And that increases the survival rate of the fat. And we harvested the fat, you can see here it is separating. And you can see here we have about twelve CCs. We are going to put about twelve CCs in each hole here.

You can see, there is a bone right here. So now that we know where the bone is, we will go underneath the bone.

You see how it is not moving like it was? This part of the nose right here.

So that is a ten. So each of these is about point one to point two CCs, so those are the little pellets. This is like docking in space.

So we will do one syringe on each side. We put in the needle in all like that, and then we lay out these. We put a little bit more at the base of the nose. There we go. Now you have got to put a little bit more than you think you need because not all the fat survives
