Tummy Tuck Surgery
Hi everyone, this is dr. Boris, and today we are doing a really large tummy tuck. When this woman stands up, she’s got an eighty-pound skin that just falls down. She was about two hundred and forty pounds and went down to about hundred and eighty. And unfortunately, as a result of that, she lost a lot of fat, and in addition to the tummy tuck, we are going to be doing liposuction, to get fat out, and a BBL, she really wants a BBL, so we really got to hunt around for fat, because, with weight loss, she has lost most of the fat. But she is left with a lot of, a lot of loose skin, and there is all kind of tummy tucks that people would recommend for her, one called an open book, where they cut down the middle. But we are not going to do that, we are going to do a traditional tummy tuck, and I think she will get a great result with it, as you will see. And, just a lot of work, so that is what we are going to start, that is what we are going to do today.
So, we have already filled the tissues under the skin with tumescent fluid, that is a vehicle for the fat to come out. Again, she has so little fat that I am really going to be scrounging around to really fulfill her desire to get a BBL. Again, she went from two forty to hundred and eighty, and so, all that you lost is fat. So now we have a lot of loose skin that really hangs, it is extensive. So we are going to look for the fat, and I just infused about three liters of fluid with epinephrine in it, to minimize the bleeding, so hopefully, we will get a lot of fat. Well, enough fat to make her happy.
Well, we did the front and much of the sides from when the patient was upright, and we have got a lot of fat out actually, I am very happy about that. There is still more fat to be taken out here, and that is what we are going to do right now. And once we get the fat out, we are harvesting it and preparing it and then we are going to inject it into the butt. And she, most women, when they come in they say “Look, I like a very conservative butt”, and in her case, she said, “Please make it very big”. So, you will see it, as we do it. Okay, I’m going to start.
So we have completed the liposuction and took out five thousand CCs of fat, and pretty good fat actually. She got a good contouring, and she had, as you know and saw, a very very deflated butt, and we put in fifteen hundred and thirty CCs of fat in each buttock, and we filled it out and I think she is going to be pretty happy with that as you see it.
So we are going to start now a tummy tuck, we did the lipo, we did the BBL, and there is a lot of work to be done now, so we are going to start, okay? Let’s go.
We did a lot of work, we took a lot of extra skin, a lot of skin, she had a big a print, you can see the pictures of them, we have them on the other table, but. So what we are going to do now is bring everything together. We have tightened the muscles, we have taken out a lot of extra fat that was here, as well as the extra skin. And now we are just going to close and reattach and reapproximate the belly button, in its new location, and she is going to look amazing. Wail ‘till you see the results.
